Our flavorful rice is grown locally in Goa by our farmers in fields and khazan lands. It is thicker and has red / brown streaks that are a result of the parboiling.


The rice is parboiled i.e. partly cooked along with the husk before drying and dehusking. This ensures that a larger amount of the nutrients like fibre, calcium, pottasium and vitamin B-6 are retained. The higher fibre content makes it a favored option by diabetics.


We ensure that our farmers are well compensated for their efforts.


Cooking instructions: Soak the rice in water for one hour before cooking. For every cup of rice use 2.5 cups of water. Adjust the quantity of water as per desired firmness.
